      Death Of A Paladin
      Tuesday, December 18, 2007
I killed my Paladin. Not a Horde, not a duel. I did it. I tried and tried to play the Paladin and like her but it was impossible. The more I tried to play her and like her the more I hated her. So I killed her. lol

This wasn't the first time I did that. This was the second generation of the same character. The first one made it to level 12 before I got sick of her. This one got to 11. Now she is gone. Dead.

OK, what I did was delete her. But I liked the name and how pretty she was so I remade her again as a Warrior. She looks the same and has the same name again. She really is a pretty character. The name Granuaile is a special one. It is the name of a 16th century Irish Pirate Queen. (Here is a link to her story.) Me being part Irish I am partial to the name and historical significance. So now Granuaile is a Warrior, as she should have been in the first place with that name.

Besides, I have found that I like Warriors best. Rogues are super fun to play also. I have tried pretty much all types and those are my two favorites. I'm not too sure which I like least, after Paladins that is. :) I think the Mage is the hardest to play successfully. They kick butt but also die easy. It takes skill to survive as a Mage.

So Grainne is now level 12. She has managed to do all the Elwynn quests and is headed to Westfall. Pallanen is happy to have a sister who is a Warrior also. Grainne will be an Armorsmith which will complement Pally's being a Weaponsmith.

I am considering deleting the Horde characters too. I have found that playing the Hordes is weird to me. The quest givers and even the vendors are all so rude. The Hordies are rude looking (except Blood Elves) and all act rude too. I amy delete them. I may not. Right now I am too busy with all the 'little girls' to worry about that. :)

Speaking of the little girls, Sairalinde is now level 52. It sure is easy to level a Hunter. Having the pet to help is the obvious reason. Jaelle is now 40 and has a mount. Merenwen is now 36 and Earanel is 19. I have found that since Pallanen made it to 70 I am more into getting the other girls leveled. I play Pally every night for 1 or 2 quests and then move on to one of the others. Keeps me from being bored.

Tonight I think I'll just play Jaelle. She is making everyone rich (essentially since we are all together lol) with her abitlity to transmute things and her picking locks. I originally thought that choosing Herbalism and Alchemy was a bad idea but now that Jaelle is in the higher levels of the skills it is pretty cool. Jaelle will be in Theramore/Dustwallow tonight I think. Sounds good to me. :P

I think Alchemy and herbalism are good money makers. When I start a new character now I usually go for two gathering professions now. I think its fine that you have 2 warriors. Some people might think its weird but there is so much to enjoy in this game might as well try everything. I got a 70 Fury warrior, 41 Arms warrior, 20 prot warrior. So how is the guild going? Last time you said Karazan might get started for you guys? Interested to see how that went. Also we have a lot of women in our guild I have never met one who made a tank before. Your a first there. Sad to hear about your paladins. I struggled with mine during the levels 10-25 myself. That free mount at 40 is a bonus though. Around 40 is when my protection spec paladin really hit his stride.

Hey Wow-aholic. I'm amazed at how many alts you have. I have my hands full with 10. I loove my Warriors the most. Pallanen was Arms specced until about a month ago. Thats why I am struggling to learn tanking.

Maybe I need to give Paladins a longer try? I was soooo bored with them though. lol

The Guild won't be ready to raid kara for a few months. I was under the impression we were running toward that but that isn't the case. Gives me time to build up Pallanen more so I'm not bummed.

      About Me

      Name: Jen
      Home: Pennsylvania, United States
About Me: I started playing WoW after my best friend bugged me to play. I soon learned that I really liked it. Now 2 years later I still play and have 20 characters. LOL I am no gaming expert. I am no WoW expert. A lot of the terms and "how to do's" elude me still. But I love to play. All you will find here are the adventures of Pallanen and her sisters. I love them all and they really kick butt. So stay tuned and maybe we can learn stuff from each other that we never knew. xoxo
