About Time For An Update |
Monday, May 5, 2008 |
I have been busy in the real world so I haven't done a lot of internet stuff lately. Except for playing WoW of course. :) So my updates aren't as regular as I had hoped. I have played my share but I've had to slip my play time in between real life stuff. Thats how it goes for everyone I'm sure. Plus it's nice weather finally. Winter is the best for playing a lot. I like being outdoors when I can so playing WoW suffers a bit.
Anyway, I have been busy with all the girls. Not just one so I'll run down the list of activities.
Pallanen has split her time between running Kara with the Guild, helping lowbies out when she can and mining mats for sale and for her sisters. Thanks to her efforts I have made about 1200 gold in a week. Also my little miners have made huge jumps in their mining levels as well as their professions. Mainly Granuaile in Blacksmithing and Earane in her Jewelcrafting. Pally was supposed to raid Gruul's last night but not enough Guildies signed up. We are rescheduling for this coming week. I really want to conquer that one too. It left a bad taste in my mouth the last time.
Sairalinde is now 60. I was holding back with her so she could do BGs as a 59. But I realized that I was tired of running BGs so I took her back to Outlands. I had forgotten how much I dislike questing in Hellfire until I went back. With Pallanen I would do a few quests and leave for better places like Winterspring. I didn't know there was something to look forward to. With Sairalinde I know there are much better places afterward so I will buckle down and get through Hellfire and Zang asap. Then the fun questing begins. One thing that I find odd in Outland is the skinning. Everything is orange for Saira but she doesn't get a Skinning level-up when she skins. About every 3rd one levels her up. I don't get it.
Jaelle is now 43. She has done a lot of stuff in the Badlands and Arathi. Killed the elite dragons in Badlands and killed the Princess in Arathi. Along the way her lockpicking has risen. I didn't think Lockpicking would be character level dependant but it is. Bummer. I have a lot of fun with Jaelle. Inside the Angor Fortress she kicks butt. Sneaking behind ads and Ambushing is great. Half their life goes away in one shot. The sweet blue daggers Pallanen buys for Jaelle helps I'm sure. lol
Merenwen is the most neglected of the girls lately. She got to 40 and then I played the others. I do get her plenty of money and items for Enchanting but otherwise she hasn't quested much.
Earane and I got reacquainted recently. For about 4 levels. She is 26 now. I did all the remaining quests in Lakeshire/Redridge and almost all of them in Ashenvale. She has been very busy Jewelcrafting and Mining. The truth is, if I didn't need her Jewelcrafting (mostly for Prospecting) I probably would have deleted her. I do not care for Warlocks at all. Whether I'm playing them or fighting them. I actually think I prefer Paladins over them. Thats saying a lot. :P
Earanel has been busy lately too. I think I really like Druids. She is fun. I managed to get through all the quests in Westfall, including the Deadmines, and did all the Redridge ones too. The Druid is pretty versatile. I sure couldn't get bored playing her. One thing I found amusing about Earanel though was that I totally forgot she was a Skinner. I killed a bucnh of stuff and left it behind. Then I killed an animal in Redridge and was looking around to see if anything else was nearby and the cursor went over the dead thing. Thats whne I noticed the Skinning sign. That was a forehead-slapping moment. lol
Granuaile has also been very busy. She has paralleled Jaelle in questing. Did the elite dragons in Badlands and the Princess in Arathi. She has also been busy with her professions. I have to get busy and make her a Phantom Blade soon. She is close to being 44 and I really like that blade. Gran is a lot of fun, but I am partial to Warriors anyway. She is also one of those characters who must look like a helper. She gets a lot of requests for help. Usually I will help people too. One thing I did yesterday that made me lauch was I took her to the Hinterlands and fought my way into one of those ruins (I forget the name). It was to get the bags of stuff for the Sweet Amber Quest line. So I get to the place where the bags of Oats (I think) was supposed to be and was totally psyched. Someone had wiped the place just before I got there. I run up and try to grab the bag but nothing happens. It turns out that Jaelle was doing that quest line, not Granuaile. I had intended her to do it in parallel with Jaelle but forgot to get the quest. LOL
Eville and Rubacuori have been doing some quests lately. Not a lot. I plan on doing stuff with them sproadically. Mostly I want to get Sairalinde to 70 so they will sleep more than not.
One other interesting thing....... Aerynel has returned. She was my Blood Elf Warlock but I deleted her. I liked her but not the Warlock part. My friend Lisa joined a group with her boyfriend and his friends on a PVP server. She asked me to make a character and help. I didn't want to at first but I did it anyway. Aerynel is now a Blood Elf Hunter, level 11. I'll do some pics soon. She is a lot of fun too. But she will get little play time unless Lisa is active there. Plus, a PVP server? I'm not sure how that will go. The best part? She has a pet wolf and I called him LonChaneyJr. For all the old movie buffs, you will appreciate that one. :P
Anyway, now we're up to date. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have something more interesting to chat about. :) |

About Me: I started playing WoW after my best friend bugged me to play. I soon learned that I really liked it. Now 2 years later I still play and have 20 characters. LOL I am no gaming expert. I am no WoW expert. A lot of the terms and "how to do's" elude me still. But I love to play. All you will find here are the adventures of Pallanen and her sisters. I love them all and they really kick butt. So stay tuned and maybe we can learn stuff from each other that we never knew. xoxo
