      Tired Of Being A 70?
      Tuesday, May 6, 2008
Sometimes I get tired of being a level 70. LOL

That does sound funny I guess. But the truth is it has its ups and downs. Most of the time I love being 70 so don’t think I’ve lost my mind. Being 70 is great when it comes to a lot of in-game perks, especially quest rewards. A Warrior (or any 70) can make a lot of gold pretty fast when questing.

It is also great to be able to travel almost anywhere and not be afraid of bad guys. I recently had a quest to go to some guy just outside of Silvermoon City in Blood Elf territory. So when I completed that one I decided to travel to Silvermoon City just for fun. I knew the way well since I have 2 Blood Elves of my own. I even got into the gate and looked around a bit. The guards were hitting Pallanen for a little while but they never hurt her. That was fun. Little Blood Elves were standing and waving and blowing kisses to Pally the whole time. Then I decided to run around the area and help little BEs with their quests. I helped a couple of them win fights they would have lost. Two of them even gestured for me to help and I did. It was fun. :)

The other side of level 70 is feeling responsible for……….. well, a lot. I always feel responsible when it comes to helping the Guild. Whether it’s with Raids or Kara or helping little Guildies with quests, Pallanen is regularly called upon for help. I rarely turn down the requests. I would feel bad if I did. I feel like I had very little help when Pallanen was leveling so I will make it a point to help when I can.

The one thing I don’t like is when a lower level person insists I run them through an instance. Sometimes they act like I am obligated to it because Pally is 70. I always ask them if their character is an alt or their main. This usually confuses them a bit. But if the person is asking for their main, I won’t help them. If their main is still low enough to need a Deadmines run or Blackfathom run, then I feel like they also need the experience working with a group and need to do it the right way. Pallanen did all those quests the hard way, in groups, and it has helped her/me in the higher level instances and raids to be a better team member.

Actually, come to think of it, Sairalinde has never had a high level run her through any instance either. But she has done them all (so far). Hmmm…..

There are a lot of level 70 characters out there who suck in a group and I’m pretty sure they are the type who never did the lower level instances in groups. I can’t see me feeling right about helping another 70 stink up high level raids and instances. Of course, they might just be bad players too but this is my blog and in it are my opinions so….. lol

Anyway, what I started to say way back up in the beginning of this post….. :P ….. is that sometimes it just feels good being one of the little girls. I am trying hard to dedicate myself to getting Sairalinde to 70 now. She has waited long enough. I am very distracted by Granuaile all the time though. I am partial to Warriors anyway and she is so much fun. I have to resist playing her every given moment. But I am pretty sure she will be my next 70. She and Jaelle are doing the same quests all the time so I’ll make it there with both at about the same time most likely.

OK, so the gist of this post is that I am enjoying my little girls a lot more these days. Also I like the feeling I get having Pallanen as a 70, epic geared and ready for almost anything. Reading back over that last part makes me realize I really have a long winded way to say very little, don’t I? Uh huh….. :P

      About Me

      Name: Jen
      Home: Pennsylvania, United States
About Me: I started playing WoW after my best friend bugged me to play. I soon learned that I really liked it. Now 2 years later I still play and have 20 characters. LOL I am no gaming expert. I am no WoW expert. A lot of the terms and "how to do's" elude me still. But I love to play. All you will find here are the adventures of Pallanen and her sisters. I love them all and they really kick butt. So stay tuned and maybe we can learn stuff from each other that we never knew. xoxo
