'There and Back Again, A Blood Elf’s Tale’
      Tuesday, May 20, 2008
Aerynel had an epic adventure over the weekend. As epic as a level 19 Blood Elf can have that is. :P

I had mentioned in an earlier post, I really wanted to get her a Ghost Saber for her pet. But Aerynel being on a PVP server and the Ruins of Mathystra where the Ghost Sabers are being deep into Night Elf territory made me wonder if it was even possible. I mentioned it to a co-worker last week and he laughed at the idea. He told me that it would be very hard if not impossible to do. So naturally that decided it for me. If it is impossible, I’ll try it. lol

I decided to go for it on Friday night. I remembered that usually Fridays were less crowded everywhere. So I played Aerynel until she became level 19. Then I headed out on the adventure. I used the Silvermoon City translocator to get to Undercity and took the blimp ride to Orgrimmar. I headed out on foot south toward Ratchet wondering if any Alliance could attack me in the Barrens. I’ve never played on a PVP server before so I wasn’t sure. I followed the Southfury River south, not really sure how far Ratchet was. I had never been in the area before as either Horde or Alliance so it was all new to me. On the way I ran into many packs of Hyenas and some Lions, most of which were Aerynel’s level or slightly higher. That’s the advantage of being a Hunter. Aerynel and her pet handled them well. The best part of that was Aerynel’s skinning level kept rising.

Finally I arrived in Ratchet. I looked around and was happy to see that the Alliance people there were not red to me and that my PVP flag didn’t pop. I grabbed the flight path and decided that I would go ahead and get the FP in Booty Bay while I was there. As I waited for the boat to BB there was this obnoxious Alliance Hunter there who kept dancing with me and making flirty actions. He was too high a level for me to see, just a skull, so I was glad he wasn’t hostile. When the boat came I got on board but he hesitated. I watched as he came on board and then went back off. He stood in front of a BE Priest, level 65, and kneeled down in front of him a couple times. Then the Hunter came on board again but when the Priest came on board he got back off again. I guess this should have been a warning to me but for some reason it didn’t register.

As it turns out that Hunter was looking forward to killing Aerynel but I had no idea until I got to Booty Bay. Once I was there the lesson was learned loud and clear.

The boat sailed as usual. Then when I got near the dock at BB I got my first experience being a Blood Elf in an enemy territory. The boat wasn’t even docked when a very high level Warlock attacked Aerynel. I had a second to look around (and be totally shocked) to see that the Warlock had killed the Booty Bay Bruisers and was just standing there killing any Hordes coming off the boats. The whole dock was littered with dead guys. I quickly jumped into the water and swam under the docks trying to avoid another blast from the Warlock. One shot had already nearly wiped Aerynel. Then I noticed her pet was running back up the dock to attack the attacker. That made me laugh. He was on Defensive and I hadn’t realized he was headed back to fight. I quickly put him on passive and kept swimming under the docks hoping the Warlock would not come after me. I was headed into the area where the BB guards were still alive.

I stayed under the docks and watched as the Warlock and a Hunter killed everything that moved in Booty Bay. I was there for about 10 minutes before they left the area. They never came for me again. Maybe they assumed the first shot had killed Aerynel? If her pet had attacked them they would have known better. Lucky me.

Once they left I managed to get to the Flight Path. Then I went back to the boat dock and waited. The Bruisers were back so I felt a little better. But that’s when I remembered the Hunter in Ratchet and how he acted. He would have gotten onto the boat with me so that when I arrived in BB he could kill me right away. I was lucky that the BE Priest came on board with me and scared him off.

After what felt like hours the boat finally came and I got on board. I was so happy to be sailing again to Ratchet. That was the hardest trip I had ever made just for a Flight Path. lol But it never occurred to me that I was still flagged. I happily got off the boat at Ratchet and started running toward the Crossroads. Then I noticed 2 things; one, that I was flagged and two, there was a conversation in chat about a group getting together to run down a level 30 Dranei on the Gold Road headed south. The group assumed he was headed to Razorfen but they didn’t care. They were going to go get him for no good reason. That’s when I really started thinking about how different the PVP server really is. That Dranei wasn’t doing anything (apparently) but working on quests. But he was going to get it. So I decided to wait in Ratchet until my PVP flag went away.

Once the PVP did drop suddenly that goofy Hunter (from earlier) was back again. This time trying to antagonize me into a fight. I was soooo glad Aerynel’s PVP was gone. He probably would have attacked. I just ignored him and headed out toward the Crossroads. I kept checking back to see if he would follow but he attached himself to another low level Troll and forgot about me. He is obviously a real tough guy. (Tongue firmly in cheek... :P)

Aerynel got to the Crossroads without any issues and got the FP there. Then I stopped and wondered what to do. I knew that if I headed through the gate between the Barrens and Ashenvale I would no doubt meet up with a lot of Alliance Night Elves questing there. The Silverwing Outpost is also there with plenty of elves running around the area. Plus, I knew going toward Astranaar and past it would be very hard. So I chose to go the other direction through the Stonetalon area. I headed toward the Talondeep Path and got there without too much fighting. General mobs and such but none too hard for Aerynel and LonChaneyJr. I stood at the entrance to the Talondeep Path just knowing that if I encountered anyone inside I was in for a fight. But I went in and got through without an incident. I popped out the other side and there I was in Ashenvale. :)

That was when I knew I was on an adventure. The lettering that popped up was all red. For the remainder of the trek all the new areas I discovered popped up in red letters. That was an odd feeling. Especially since I had done so much questing in the area as an Alliance member.

This is where the trip got tough. I stayed off the roads and tried to avoid the monsters. Every mob I ran into was 2-3 levels higher than Aerynel and her pet. Plus, I have always thought there are way too many baddies in all the zones. This trip made me even more aware of that. Every 10 steps or so a bear, a wolf or spider would jump me. I fought my way slowly through all that mess and then suddenly I was beside the road near Maestra’s Post. Now I was nervous again. I stuck to the far left side and when I could I headed off the road toward the Zoram Strand. I knew there was a Horde Flight Path there somewhere. On the way I had to constantly fight wolves again. But Aerynel made it through and got to the FP.

I headed north from there along the Sea and past Blackfathom Deeps. Occasionally I had to kill some of those scaly things that roam the area. Luckily I never had to fight more than one at a time. If so, I would have been in trouble. Then suddenly I was on the edge of the forest near The Master’s Glaive. Now I was once again faced with a decision. Should I stick to the beach and try to swim past Auberdine or shoot for the other side where the mountains are? I reasoned that if I could get over the road and back near the mountains without being spotted I could most likely run all the way north to the Ruins of Mathystra. I thought that was a better choice than trying to swim past Auberdine without getting spotted. So I headed out again.

Once again there were tons of bears and cats to fight. Aerynel’s skinning level was growing fast. Not to mention her mining was picking up also. I made it across the road and to the edge of the mountains. Then I made it to the cave where the Furblogs are and then north to where the ghosts are in Ameth’Aran. Then I made it to Bashal’Aran where the demons are. By this time I was feeling a little giddy. So far I had traveled almost to the ruins and not seen one Alliance player. Next up was the area where the higher level Furblogs are by the Cliffspring River. I had to fight quite a few cats and bears and 2 Furblogs to cross the river but it wasn’t too bad. Then came the Tower of Anthlaxx. I had to fight my way through a lot of mobs there. Got a lot of Linen and mining done though. I spent so much time fighting mobs and looking over my shoulder for Alliance that I didn’t notice the progress I was making. Suddenly, the next thing I knew I was on a hill looking down at the Ruins of Mathystra!!! I had made it there without one PVP fight at all. LOL

You may think I was on easy street now but noooo, this is where things got really hard. Anyone who has ever tried to get a Ghost Saber knows that they are one of the more rare pets. You have to fight the mobs in the ruins, they are anywhere from level 18 to 22, and find a Cat Figurine. Then you have to ‘open’ the figurine and hope a Ghost Saber comes out. (It rarely does come out.) Then you have to tame it before it kills you. The Cat Figurines are kinda rare to begin with. Plus not all the ones you open have a cat come out. The worst part was that I knew as soon as I got to the first figurine I had to abandon my pet before opening it. I couldn’t tame a pet if I already had one with me. A Hunter without a pet in an infested area of mobs her level (and most a higher level) was not a pleasant thought. So now here I was, gambling that I could find a figurine, clear the area, abandon my current pet in the hopes that a Ghost Saber would actually come out of the figurine, one the right level and that he would be tamable on the first try. If not I would have to try and kill higher level mobs alone, without the help of a pet. On top of all that, I was deep in enemy territory, constantly looking around for the Night Elves whom I kept thinking were coming to wipe me up.

      Piece of cake. :P

Aerynel and her Worg fought about 10 mobs before finally finding the first Cat Figurine. Once the area was clear I said goodbye and thanks to LonChaneyJr and abandoned him. Then I clicked on the figurine and hoped for the best. I anxiously waited, ready to hit the Taming Spell as that slow opening animation made its way to the end. Naturally, the best was not to be. The only thing that happened was the figurine ended up in my bags. Now I was bummed *sigh

For the next half hour I fought mobs looking for another figurine. Twice the mobs killed Aerynel. It is very hard to fight in that area without aggroing several mobs at once. Finally I found a Cat Figurine near the edge of the ruins. I killed the one mob nearby and healed up. Then I opened the figurine and hoped. Suddenly a Ghost Saber popped up and attacked me. I was so excited that I didn’t notice that my taming spell wasn’t working. I clicked it several times before seeing the red writing on the screen. The Saber that popped out was a level 20. Aerynel was 19, too low to tame it. Now I was really frustrated (and almost dead again). I ran until the cat stopped chasing and with very little life left I sat and healed up. I was so annoyed now. I just knew an Alliance player was going to show up before I could get the job done.

Just to be sure I went back to try and tame the cat again. Dumb, yes. But I wanted to be sure. Naturally I got the same results. Duh!

Now I was really concerned. I hoped the Ghost Saber would fade away because I wasn’t sure if another would pop out of a figurine (once I finally managed to find another figurine that is) while the level 20 was still around. I briefly thought about trying to get Aerynel to level 20 and taming the Saber that was hanging around. But I started killing mobs and realized that it would take a very long time to level. Plus, it was really tough killing the mobs. I’d be there all night and I doubted my arrow supply would hold up. My armor was already showing up damaged (in yellow on the screen) as it was. I was getting depressed.

After killing many more mobs I went back to the area where the cat had come out at me. It wasn’t there anymore so I felt a little better. Then I found another figurine and opened it. Nothing. Then another. Nothing. I looked in my bags and saw that I had 7 figurines in there. I was getting a sinking feeling since I had been there a very long time. So far I had invested over 4 hours on this adventure. But I was determined to keep going until I had no choice. So I kept searching.

On the 9th figurine I opened another Ghost Saber came after me. I was so used to them not showing up that I was surprised. Then I saw that it was a level 19. I was psyched! I had started the taming spell pretty fast but those cats really kick butt. I was a little worried but in the end Aerynel tamed her Ghost Saber with about ¼ life left. I was so relieved that I just sat there for a while. I fed him a lot to get him in a good mood and named him Clarence (after one of my favorite personal pets). Then I decided to stick around and kill things to get his loyalty up.

Clarence and Aerynel killed a lot of mobs after that. They did a lot of skinning and mining there. The low level mining is great in north Darkshore. Her mining rose a lot and her skinning did too. Clarence’s loyalty rose to level 3 while they played together. I stayed in Darkshore a lot longer than I had expected to stay but the truth is, I never encountered an Alliance threat outside of Booty Bay and Ratchet. But the feeling of impending doom was always with me. lol

So now Aerynel has a very unique pet that she will keep forever. She has earned it. No Alliance fights occurred but a whole lot of other tough fights happened. It also took about 4.5 hours to do. I didn’t finish until well after midnight. I think I chose the right night to try this since I didn’t encounter any PVP problems. But I think that was just dumb luck and nothing more. When I am there with my usual characters there is always someone around.

Last night I did a few quests in the Tranquillen area and I had 3 different people asking me about Clarence. All 3 thought he was cool but all 3 also thought I was nuts for going to Darkshore to get him. But for me (and for Aerynel), it was well worth it. :)

Here is a screen shot of Aerynel and Clarence once they returned to Silvermoon City. I wish I had taken a few screenshots while in Darkshore. :(

      New To The Family
      Tuesday, May 13, 2008
You may have noticed on the sidebar (or not... lol) two new additions to my WoW family. I mentioned briefly in a previous post that Aerynel has returned. For the record, Aerynel was my first Horde character, a Blood Elf Warlock, that I deleted.

I really don't like Warlocks. But thats a subject for later.

My bff Lisa started a character on the PVP realm Eredar because her boyfriend wanted her to. He has a bunch of friends trying to make a reliable group on the PVP server so they could quest together with a minimum of ganking. So Lisa wanted me to make a character on that realm too so when her guy isn't playing she would have some support. (He tends to be a bit unreliable.) So I thought about it for a while and decided I'd like to try the PVP realm. I also decided that if I was abandoned by this group, as has been known to happen in online gaming, that a Hunter would be best because she would have good fighting skills, decent armor and a tough pet. Lisa decided the same thing and she made a Hunter too.

Anyway, the new version of Aerynel looks exactly the same as the original but this time is a Hunter. She is a lot of fun to play and I really like her a lot. Here she is.....

She currently has a pet Worg named LonChaneyJr. I love old movies and Lon Chaney Jr. was the guy in all the old Werewolf movies that turned into a wolf every night and killed things. :P

My plan, a crazy one to be sure, is to take Aerynel to the Ruins of Mathystra (sp???) once she is 19-20 and get her a Ghost Saber. I think a Blood Elf with a Ghost Saber would be a very rare thing, especially on a PVP server. I know I will have an extremely difficult time just getting to the ruins. Then I have to be able to find the cat and tame it. Call me crazy but thats the plan. Aerynel is now 15. It won't be long and then the adventure begins.

On Eredar I also made another character. The group needed a Priest so I made one. (I like Priests for some reason.) Her name is Earlinde. (I wish I knew how to put the little accent things above the letters in my girls names!) She is now 13. I like her a lot too. Here she is.....

I decided I hate doing the usual, ie: expected, professions so I made both girls Skinners and Miners. That way getting mats for stuff isn't a frustration. I learned from Pallanen's recent experience and decided to gather and sell mats that people need. Trust me, it works. Earlinde already has over 10 gold and Aerynel has 16 gold. Plus their banks aren't getting full of junk. I'm liking the idea. :)

Lisa has her Hunter and also her Rogue up to level 15 also. She has a Leatherworker and a Tailor. I send all my leather and cloth to her and she makes stuff for my girls. It is working out well. The Gold my girls have is from selling mining mats only. Sweet, eh?

We are doing our part for this new group. Busy leveling and gaining skills and gold. So naturally her boyfriend recently decided he was tired of playing. Ha ha! This leaves us pretty much alone to fend for ourselves in Eredar. Just about what we both expected. But we are doing fine without anyone else so I think we'll keep playing the new girls. I know I will.

If worse comes to worse and I get tired of it I will transfer Aerynel to Kul Tiras. I think I'll be deleting Earane soon anyway and that will leave me room for her. Earane is a Warlock and she bugs me. I keep her around for her Jewelcrafting. But this morning I realized that I could easily make my Druid Earanel a Jeweler and delete the Warlock. Earanel is a Leatherworker and that skill doesn't have a lot of value. Not to me anyway. I could get her up to Earane's level in Jewelcrafting within just a few days. That may be the new plan. We'll see.

I am looking forward to seeing how the PVP realm is. Once I get to the contested lands I'm sure the issues will start. I may find that I hate it. I may find that I love it. Only time will tell. :)

      Tired Of Being A 70?
      Tuesday, May 6, 2008
Sometimes I get tired of being a level 70. LOL

That does sound funny I guess. But the truth is it has its ups and downs. Most of the time I love being 70 so don’t think I’ve lost my mind. Being 70 is great when it comes to a lot of in-game perks, especially quest rewards. A Warrior (or any 70) can make a lot of gold pretty fast when questing.

It is also great to be able to travel almost anywhere and not be afraid of bad guys. I recently had a quest to go to some guy just outside of Silvermoon City in Blood Elf territory. So when I completed that one I decided to travel to Silvermoon City just for fun. I knew the way well since I have 2 Blood Elves of my own. I even got into the gate and looked around a bit. The guards were hitting Pallanen for a little while but they never hurt her. That was fun. Little Blood Elves were standing and waving and blowing kisses to Pally the whole time. Then I decided to run around the area and help little BEs with their quests. I helped a couple of them win fights they would have lost. Two of them even gestured for me to help and I did. It was fun. :)

The other side of level 70 is feeling responsible for……….. well, a lot. I always feel responsible when it comes to helping the Guild. Whether it’s with Raids or Kara or helping little Guildies with quests, Pallanen is regularly called upon for help. I rarely turn down the requests. I would feel bad if I did. I feel like I had very little help when Pallanen was leveling so I will make it a point to help when I can.

The one thing I don’t like is when a lower level person insists I run them through an instance. Sometimes they act like I am obligated to it because Pally is 70. I always ask them if their character is an alt or their main. This usually confuses them a bit. But if the person is asking for their main, I won’t help them. If their main is still low enough to need a Deadmines run or Blackfathom run, then I feel like they also need the experience working with a group and need to do it the right way. Pallanen did all those quests the hard way, in groups, and it has helped her/me in the higher level instances and raids to be a better team member.

Actually, come to think of it, Sairalinde has never had a high level run her through any instance either. But she has done them all (so far). Hmmm…..

There are a lot of level 70 characters out there who suck in a group and I’m pretty sure they are the type who never did the lower level instances in groups. I can’t see me feeling right about helping another 70 stink up high level raids and instances. Of course, they might just be bad players too but this is my blog and in it are my opinions so….. lol

Anyway, what I started to say way back up in the beginning of this post….. :P ….. is that sometimes it just feels good being one of the little girls. I am trying hard to dedicate myself to getting Sairalinde to 70 now. She has waited long enough. I am very distracted by Granuaile all the time though. I am partial to Warriors anyway and she is so much fun. I have to resist playing her every given moment. But I am pretty sure she will be my next 70. She and Jaelle are doing the same quests all the time so I’ll make it there with both at about the same time most likely.

OK, so the gist of this post is that I am enjoying my little girls a lot more these days. Also I like the feeling I get having Pallanen as a 70, epic geared and ready for almost anything. Reading back over that last part makes me realize I really have a long winded way to say very little, don’t I? Uh huh….. :P

      About Time For An Update
      Monday, May 5, 2008
I have been busy in the real world so I haven't done a lot of internet stuff lately. Except for playing WoW of course. :) So my updates aren't as regular as I had hoped. I have played my share but I've had to slip my play time in between real life stuff. Thats how it goes for everyone I'm sure. Plus it's nice weather finally. Winter is the best for playing a lot. I like being outdoors when I can so playing WoW suffers a bit.

Anyway, I have been busy with all the girls. Not just one so I'll run down the list of activities.

Pallanen has split her time between running Kara with the Guild, helping lowbies out when she can and mining mats for sale and for her sisters. Thanks to her efforts I have made about 1200 gold in a week. Also my little miners have made huge jumps in their mining levels as well as their professions. Mainly Granuaile in Blacksmithing and Earane in her Jewelcrafting. Pally was supposed to raid Gruul's last night but not enough Guildies signed up. We are rescheduling for this coming week. I really want to conquer that one too. It left a bad taste in my mouth the last time.

Sairalinde is now 60. I was holding back with her so she could do BGs as a 59. But I realized that I was tired of running BGs so I took her back to Outlands. I had forgotten how much I dislike questing in Hellfire until I went back. With Pallanen I would do a few quests and leave for better places like Winterspring. I didn't know there was something to look forward to. With Sairalinde I know there are much better places afterward so I will buckle down and get through Hellfire and Zang asap. Then the fun questing begins. One thing that I find odd in Outland is the skinning. Everything is orange for Saira but she doesn't get a Skinning level-up when she skins. About every 3rd one levels her up. I don't get it.

Jaelle is now 43. She has done a lot of stuff in the Badlands and Arathi. Killed the elite dragons in Badlands and killed the Princess in Arathi. Along the way her lockpicking has risen. I didn't think Lockpicking would be character level dependant but it is. Bummer. I have a lot of fun with Jaelle. Inside the Angor Fortress she kicks butt. Sneaking behind ads and Ambushing is great. Half their life goes away in one shot. The sweet blue daggers Pallanen buys for Jaelle helps I'm sure. lol

Merenwen is the most neglected of the girls lately. She got to 40 and then I played the others. I do get her plenty of money and items for Enchanting but otherwise she hasn't quested much.

Earane and I got reacquainted recently. For about 4 levels. She is 26 now. I did all the remaining quests in Lakeshire/Redridge and almost all of them in Ashenvale. She has been very busy Jewelcrafting and Mining. The truth is, if I didn't need her Jewelcrafting (mostly for Prospecting) I probably would have deleted her. I do not care for Warlocks at all. Whether I'm playing them or fighting them. I actually think I prefer Paladins over them. Thats saying a lot. :P

Earanel has been busy lately too. I think I really like Druids. She is fun. I managed to get through all the quests in Westfall, including the Deadmines, and did all the Redridge ones too. The Druid is pretty versatile. I sure couldn't get bored playing her. One thing I found amusing about Earanel though was that I totally forgot she was a Skinner. I killed a bucnh of stuff and left it behind. Then I killed an animal in Redridge and was looking around to see if anything else was nearby and the cursor went over the dead thing. Thats whne I noticed the Skinning sign. That was a forehead-slapping moment. lol

Granuaile has also been very busy. She has paralleled Jaelle in questing. Did the elite dragons in Badlands and the Princess in Arathi. She has also been busy with her professions. I have to get busy and make her a Phantom Blade soon. She is close to being 44 and I really like that blade. Gran is a lot of fun, but I am partial to Warriors anyway. She is also one of those characters who must look like a helper. She gets a lot of requests for help. Usually I will help people too. One thing I did yesterday that made me lauch was I took her to the Hinterlands and fought my way into one of those ruins (I forget the name). It was to get the bags of stuff for the Sweet Amber Quest line. So I get to the place where the bags of Oats (I think) was supposed to be and was totally psyched. Someone had wiped the place just before I got there. I run up and try to grab the bag but nothing happens. It turns out that Jaelle was doing that quest line, not Granuaile. I had intended her to do it in parallel with Jaelle but forgot to get the quest. LOL

Eville and Rubacuori have been doing some quests lately. Not a lot. I plan on doing stuff with them sproadically. Mostly I want to get Sairalinde to 70 so they will sleep more than not.

One other interesting thing....... Aerynel has returned. She was my Blood Elf Warlock but I deleted her. I liked her but not the Warlock part. My friend Lisa joined a group with her boyfriend and his friends on a PVP server. She asked me to make a character and help. I didn't want to at first but I did it anyway. Aerynel is now a Blood Elf Hunter, level 11. I'll do some pics soon. She is a lot of fun too. But she will get little play time unless Lisa is active there. Plus, a PVP server? I'm not sure how that will go. The best part? She has a pet wolf and I called him LonChaneyJr. For all the old movie buffs, you will appreciate that one. :P

Anyway, now we're up to date. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have something more interesting to chat about. :)

      Getting Rich Quick
      Thursday, May 1, 2008
Suddenly my girls are getting rich. I have made 501 gold in 3 days. I stumbled onto something that works well for making a lot of gold fast. Now that I have started it I wonder how I missed it for so long.

It started because I had Pallanen running through her usual route for gathering Mithril and Iron for Earane to make jewelry. I also had been doing that to get Granuaile mats for her Blacksmithing. I noticed in general chat some people talking about how they make a lot of gold by just selling Mithril and Iron on the AH. One even said he makes a lot better money selling mats without leveling his profession. I thought it was interesting but really didn't take it seriously.

So I filled Pallanen's Mining Bag and went to send the load to Earane. As a curiousity I checked into her bank stash and found that she already had a ton of Mithril and Iron. She really didn't need any more. So I had her send 100 Mithril to Granuaile for Blacksmithing. Then as a test I smelted 160 bars of Mithril and put them on the AH for 20 gold a stack. I then logged onto Granuaile and worked with her for a while to level her Blacksmithing.

Granuaile was short on a few Gems so I logged back onto Earane to get Gems from her. (Earane is my Gem repository. lol) I got the Gems and went to the mailbox to send them to Gran. When I opened the mailbox I saw that there was mail and that every one of the Mithril stacks had already sold. This was a timespan of maybe 15 minutes. Hmmmm.....

So I logged back onto Granuaile and made a bunch of stuff, some of which she kept for the very near future, some she put on the AH for sale. Then I got Pallanen and ran around gathering Mithril again. I wanted to see if the sales would be that good all the time. I sent the Mithril to Earane, 100 this time. She put them on the AH at 25 gold a stack. I figured maybe the price could go a little higher since the last load went so fast. As I stood there at the AH looking over new armor for Earane all the Mithril sold. Within just a matter of maybe 2 minutes all the new bunch sold. Now I knew I was onto something.

So Pally has been running her route for Mithril and Iron again. I put 200 Iron on the AH last night for a really reasonable price. We'll see if it sold tonight. I don't believe in jacking up prices simply because I can. The Mithril price(s) I chose were well below what I saw for sale. Most people are selling Mithril for 35-40 Gold a stack. To me that is way too much. I believe the prices on the AH have gotten way out of hand anyway. But thats another post altogether. For my part, I will sell mats at a decent price all the time. Maybe the costs will come down. Who knows? (Or maybe the higher priced one are really mine that have sold? LOL)

Also last night I checked with Granuaile. All of Granuaile's stuff she auctioned sold too. As a consequence of all this wheeling and dealing the girls have profited 501 gold in 3 days of work. It really wasn't work either because I didn't try real hard to do much. It was fun and at a slow, easy pace. Always along the way when prospecting Pallanen halps someone in need. It never fails that a lower level will ask her for help when they see her. So it's not like I spent hours searching for mats. Basically I think I spent an hour running around and an hour helping lowbies quest. All that and 501 gold to boot.

Yes, I think I'm onto something here.

      About Me

      Name: Jen
      Home: Pennsylvania, United States
About Me: I started playing WoW after my best friend bugged me to play. I soon learned that I really liked it. Now 2 years later I still play and have 20 characters. LOL I am no gaming expert. I am no WoW expert. A lot of the terms and "how to do's" elude me still. But I love to play. All you will find here are the adventures of Pallanen and her sisters. I love them all and they really kick butt. So stay tuned and maybe we can learn stuff from each other that we never knew. xoxo
